Mary "Rita" Flaherty 78, of Deerfield Beach Fl. formerly the Bronx and Hastings-on-Hudson, NY died July 9, 2012. She was born in the Bronx to Martin and Mae McKenzie. Rita was a bookkeeper for the A&P in the Bronx, she also worked for Mullins/Blackthorn in East Durham, NY. She was an avid bingo player. For the past 30 years Rita enjoyed her winters in Deerfield Beach Florida. She is survived by her daughters Kelly Kevin Barry and Deidre Flaherty, son James Helen Flaherty, grandchildren Kevin, Kelsy, James, Patricia, James and McKenzie.
