Mary Jean Bova
Mary Jean Bova, 86 of Dobbs Ferry died September 12, 2015. Mary was born in Dobbs Ferry to Pasquale and Angelina DePaolo. She graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School and spent many years as a Teacher's Aide in the same school she attended. On April 16, 1950, Mary married John Bova at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. John died in 2008. Mary was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church and was a member of the ladies organization that ran the annual spaghetti dinner. She is survived by her son Joseph and his wife Patricia, daughters Carol Bova and her husband Andre Paquin and Patricia Wheeler. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Justin, Michael, Kristin Dillon, Kelsey, Angela, Julia and John. She was predeceased by her brother Frank DePaolo and sister Eileen Fernandez. Mass of the Resurrection Wednesday 9:30 am Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
