Leonard M. Anker

Leonard M. Anker, 92 of White Plains passed away on September 7, 2015. Born and raised in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Max and Frances Anker. Leonard proudly served in the United States Air Force during World War II. In 1949, he married his beloved Rhoda Samuels in New York City. Leonard owned and operated his own real estate management firm, Anker Management in Westchester, NY. He had a passion for volunteering and helped many organizations. Leonard was the Past President of the Greenburgh Hebrew Center. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Leonard will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Rhoda, son Mark, daughter-in-law Donna, son Warren and grandchildren Stacy, Emily and Faith. Funeral Service 1:00pm Wednesday, Greenburgh Hebrew Center, 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Memorial contributions can be made in Leonard's name to the Greenburgh Hebrew Center.
