Helen Sheridan 77 a long time Dobbs Ferry resident died January 22, 2009. Helen was born in Yonkers to Albert and Stephanie Pignataro. She married Frank Sheridan October 3, 1953 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Hastings on Hudson. He predeceased her in 2003. Helen worked in the Dobbs Ferry School Cafeteria for 38 years before her retirement last year. Helen was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed dining out and shopping with friends and traveling abroad. She took tremendous pride in her grandchildren always willing to show the latest pictures and tell stories about them. She is survived by her devoted sons Kevin Joan and Michael Michele, beloved grandchildren Brian, Ashley and Michael, sisters Virginia Giandomenico and Alberta Stokes.
