Ruth B. Melito 88, of Irvington, died April 30, 2012. Born in White Plains, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Agnes Farley. Ruth worked for the City of White Plains, the Kenton Corp., and St. Agnes Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and dancing. Ruth was a member of the Immaculate Conception Rosary and Altar Society, VFW Auxiliary, Irvington Seniors, St. Pius Widows and Widowers Club and the Irvington Advisory Board. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Ruth will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and independent nature. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Arthur Stout, granddaughter Aimee Stout and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Michael B., son Michael, sisters Jean Hamilton and Mary Desmore and brother Sonny Fritze. Contributions to Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corp. or Immaculate Conception Church would be appreciated. Mass of the Resurrection 9:00 AM Saturday, Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irvington, NY. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9PM Friday
