Carol Ann Rondina Obituary

Carol Ann Rondina, 64 of Ossining passed away on January 19, 2015. Born in the Bronx, she was the oldest daughter of the late Adelo and Teresa Desiderio. When Carol was younger, she worked for Honeywell in New York City. She had a passion for dance and disco, so much so that she taught the hustle in the evenings. Carol married her love Joe Rondina on March 29, 1981. They moved to New Rochelle and started their family. Most recently, they resided in Ossining. For the past 20 years, Carol worked as a director for HTA of New York. She was a strong, independent and intelligent woman. Carol was also very stylish and confident. She was the glue of the family; Carol took care of and kept in touch with everyone. She was someone that could always be relied on. Carol was also very active and busy throughout her life. Most importantly, she was a great mother. Carol was always there for her children with love, advice and guidance. She was their rock though tough situations and always had time for her children to talk, no matter what she was doing. Carol was a devoted wife and a loving mother, who will deeply missed by those that loved her. She is survived by her husband Joseph Rondina and by her two children Stephanie and Michael. Carol is also survived by her brother Kenneth and sister Joan Barcia. Mass of the Resurrection Tuesday 9:30am Church of the Sacred Heart, Dobbs Ferry. Visiting Sunday 7-9pm and Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
