Muriel Travers died peacefully at Weill-Cornell Medical Center on Saturday, October 11. 92 years of age, she was predeceased by her husband, Lester, after a marriage of 56 years. Ever the elegant woman, she will always be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Dr. William Schneider, her son and daughter-in-law, James and Francine Travers, her granddaughters and their spouses, Jessica and Danny Brown, and Jaclyn and Andrew Singer, and her great-grandchildren, Charlie and Ceiia Singer and Henry and George Brown.
