Salvatore D. Marziale

Salvatore D. Marziale, 77, life-long resident of Dobbs Ferry died April 26, 2012. Born and raised in Dobbs Ferry Salvatore was the son of Salvatore and Tina. He attended Gettysburg College, served in the US ARMY from 1956-1958 and was a Vice President of Bankers Trust in New York City for 30 years. Sal married his love, Emily Fernandez, on November 17, 1962 at The Church of St. Matthew in Hastings. He was a member of the Embassy Club and participated in the Big Brother-Big Sister Program. Sal was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf and curling. He was an avid New York Yankee fan. Sal also enjoyed tap dancing, listening to opera and reading history. In addition to his wife Emily, Sal is survived by his daughters Dana Ryan Valdez, Nancy Pregiato and Carrie Michael DeLuca and his sister Mary Jane. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Alyssa, Hailey, Carly Ann, Sarina, Luke, Sofia, Leo, Ava and Carina. Mass of the Resurrection Monday, 9:30AM Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9PM Sunday Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
