Charles Moscato
Charles J. Moscato passed away peacefully on October 14, 2014 at the Veterans complex in Montrose, NY. Uncle Charlie, as he was affectionately known, was proud to serve his country and completed multiple tours of active duty in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in June, 1953 and went on to graduate from NYU two years later. Uncle Charlie was an excellent swimmer who for many years practiced daily at the Westchester Marriott. He was an avid NY Rangers fan and worked in various capacities for Greenwich Savings Bank and other employers. He will always be remembered for his booming voice and youthful exuberance interacting with family and friends. He is survived by his niece and nephews: Tina Andranovich, George Corliss, Charles Corliss, Patrick Corliss and Michael Corliss. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th between 8 am and 9 am at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 9:30 am on the same morning at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 16 N Broadway, Irvington, NYOctober 14, 201410/14/2014
