Hedy Peng Plew died on August 21, 2014, surrounded by so many who loved her. She was the beloved wife of the late COL Ralph V. Plew, with whom she settled in NY and together made Ardsley their home since 1959. After COL Plew's passing, she was lucky to find love again with the late COL Elmer M. Burns. She thrived on hosting large parties and cooking delicious meals for family and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Grace S.C. Hsu and Alice S.G. Tung, and 2 brothers, Lin-Tai and Peter L.F. Peng. She is survived by 3 brothers, William L.F. Peng, Lin-Sen Peng, and Daniel L.S. Peng, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was and will always be everyone's favorite "Auntie." The viewing will be held on Friday, August 29, 2-5pm, at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 12:00pm at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or United Service Organizations USO.
