Ellin T. Smith, 83 a long time Irvington resident died February 9, 2012. She was born in Dobbs Ferry to William and Margaret Mary Condon. Ellin worked at Murphy Insurance in Irvington for over 30 years. She was a Communicant and Choir member at Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Sodality at Sacred Heart Church. Ellin enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore. She is survived by her children George Laurie A. Smith, Ellin M. David Crosby and Patricia A. Edward Voelkel, 6 grandchildren Meghan, Daniel, Brian, Timothy, Amy and Matthew, brother William Condon. She was predeceased by her husband George R. Smith in 1988. Mass of the Resurrection 10AM Saturday Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington, NY. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9PM Friday Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorials to Irvington Ambulance Corps appreciated.
