Frances Gemma

Gemma, Frances 90 a life long resident of Dobbs Ferry died July 9, 2014. She attended Dobbs Ferry High School and went on to work for The American Can Company in Greenwich, CT, in the Human Resource Dept., for 40 Years. Frances was a member of the choir at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. She was a soloist and sang for many weddings and funerals and was known for her beautiful rendition of Ave Maria. Frances is survived by her brother Jim Catherine Gemma, two nieces, Christine Gemma and Marilyn Gemma, 3 nephews, Jim Gemma, Tom Gemma and John Gemma, 13 great nieces and nephews, 3 great great nieces and nephews, sister in law Rose Gemma. Frances was predeceased by her brother Joseph in 2012. Mass of the Resurrection Saturday, July 12, 2014, 9:30am Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Visiting 2-4 & 7-9pm Friday Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps., appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about Cousin Frances' passing. She was such a lovely sweet woman and I have very fond memories of her from my life.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember spending time with 'Aunt' Fran and my Aunt Grace. So many happy memories.
