David Treacy

David Treacy, 67 died December 12, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was raised in Yonkers and a resident of Dobbs Ferry for six years and a resident of Hastings-on-Hudson for 32 years. He married Lenore Faillace on April 8, 1967 at St. Peter's Church in Yonkers. David worked at Bayer Diagnostics in Tarrytown, NY before his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed coaching basketball, baseball and softball. He was a member of the Southside Club in Hastings and former member of the Lud-Dale Club in Yonkers. David was loved and will be greatly missed by the entire Faillace Family. He is survived by his wife Lenore, son Michael Maria and daughter Allison, sisters Betty Jane Donald Harrington, Carrie Lee Watt and brother William Watt, foster-sisters Patsy Chase and Roseanne Pat Hunt. He was predeceased by his parents Dorothy and George Treacy, foster family Rose and Mike Flynn and his sister Carole Wasylenko. Memorials in David's name may be made to St. Cabrini Nursing Home, 115 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Mass of the Resurrection 10AM Friday, Church of St. Matthew, R.C., Hastings-on-Hudson. Visiting 7-9PM Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9PM Thursday, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
