Frank Anthony Pisani

Frank A. Pisani, 80, a lifelong Dobbs Ferry resident died May 10, 2004. He was born in Dobbs Ferry the son of Graziano and Antoinette Yozzo Pisani. During WWII, Frank served in the US Army in the 199th Antiaircraft Division. On May 21, 1944, Frank married Frances Durdovic in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Hastings-on-Hudson. Mrs. Pisani died one day prior to her husband. Frank worked for the Village of Dobbs Ferry and the Franklin Savings Bank. He was a member of the Dobbs Ferry Senior Citizens and the Embassy Club. Surviving is a sister Agnes Freer, along with several nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his brothers: Salvatore, Vito, Patsy, Bruno, John and William Pisani and his sister Barbara Honsaker. Visiting for Frank and Frances will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated for them on Thursday at 10:00 am at our Lady of Pompeii Church. Memorials to the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps would be appreciated.
