Joseph C. Bavaro, resident of Coconut Creek, FL and formerly of Dobbs Ferry passed away on April 4, 2014. Born in NJ, the son of Joseph and Virginia Bavaro. He served in the Merchant Marines in WWII. He had a long and successful career as a restauranteur/partner/chef primarily with Hartsdale Diner for upwards of 45 yrs. He retired from Scarsdale Security before relocating to FL. He was preceded in death by son Joseph. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Debbie; 2 grandchildren, Jay & Sunny and also leaves behind 2 brothers, Michael Connie & Nicholas Mary Ann as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins.
