Nancy Kelly
Nancy Siwick Kelly a Hastings native and long time resident died in Venice, Fl at the age of 94. While her husband served in the US Navy in the Pacific during WWII she worked in Anaconda Wire & Cable on the factory production line. A role later dubbed as a "Rosie the Riveter" supporting the war effort as so many women did during the war. She worked at several jobs in Hastings including Al's Market and ultimately retiring as an assistant dietitian at the Andrus retirement community. She is survived by son Bill of Gaithersburg, MD, daughter Nancy Lana of Venice Fl, and seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sisters Pauline Heffernan, Katherine Sue Lyon, Eva Siwick and Doris Vitagliano. She is predeceased by her husband Robert T and sons Robert T. Jr and Thomas, sisters Anna, Mary, Sadie, brothers John, Mike, Stephen, William.
