Annetta H. Bigley, 107, of Hastings-on-Hudson passed away on January 9, 2014. Born in 1906 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Annetta Humphries. Mrs. Bigley was predeceased by husband, Harold W. Bigley, in 1981. Mrs. Bigley began her working career on Wall Street during which time she saw Charles Lindbergh in a ticker-tape parade honoring him for his trans-Atlantic flight. She also worked at North American Phillips in Dobbs Ferry and at Hastings High School as a Secretary to the principal. Annetta was a parishioner of the Church of St. Matthew, RC in Hastings-on-Hudson and volunteered in the school library. Annetta attended daily Mass while at Andrus-on-Hudson, where she resided since 2006. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00AM at Church of St. Matthew, RC, Hastings-on-Hudson.
