Angela S Chebetar, 84 passed away peacefully on December 17, 2013. She joined her beloved husband "Cheb" Charles who recently passed September 13, 2013. She was the first born of the late Charles and Rachel Spina of Dobbs Ferry. Angela's grandparents Barbara and Bruno Yozzo, settled in Dobbs Ferry in 1887. Angela married her high school sweetheart, "Cheb" on November 28, 1948 at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. They settled and raised their family in Dobbs Ferry with Cheb proudly calling her his 'Bride' for 65 years until his passing. She worked as a secretary for Sacred Heart School in Dobbs Ferry for many years where the students adored her. Her kindness, great sense of humor with unstoppable energy and passion for cooking Italian favorites will be greatly missed. Angela is survived by her children, Jean Robert Guberti, Michael Christiane, Paul Lynn and Charlie, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister MaryAnn Pantalemon and brother Charles Spina. Her sister Barbara Heyman predeceased her. Mass of the Resurrection Monday 9:30 am Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
