Brenda A. Livingston, 76, passed away contently, comfortably and peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, Connecticut, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Livingston of Irvington, NY. Born on June 18, 1942 in New York, NY, Brenda was the daughter of the late Louis and Betty (Brandon) Davids. She was a proud resident of Irvington, NY but also loved spending the winter months in her second home, Maui, HI. Brenda's greatest joy, without question, was spending time with her husband, children and especially her grandchildren. Travelling was her passion and she had so many amazing vacations experiencing the world with family and friends. Throughout her adult life, Brenda worked as a travel agent so she could help others see the world. She was an active citizen in the Irvington community and was a member of the Planning Board and Historical Society. She spent weekend hours being a docent at one of the local historical sites so that she could share her knowledge of the village in which she lived and loved. She was also a volunteer at the annual Whale Trust Symposium in Maui, and spent countless hours at sea, whale watching and photographing her precious humpbacks. In addition to her loving husband of 56 years Richard, she is survived by her son Michael and his wife Jeanette; her daughter Deborah Livingston-Sirot and her husband Adam Sirot; her cherished grandsons James and Connor Sirot and her two step-grandchildren Nicholas Ulanoff and Shyanne Verbitsky; her brother Edward Davids and his partner Kimberly; and so many other loving relatives and friends.
