Thomas Chamberlain of Irvington, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2017. Thomas was a Yonkers Police Officer for 33 years. In that time, he developed an accomplished record earning special commendation and Detective Status from the Mayors of the City of NY and the City of Yonkers. He and his partner played critical roles in the investigation that led to the arrest and conviction in the infamous Son of Sam Case. Thomas was a proud American who served his country during the Vietnam Era in the Army. He is survived by his lovely wife Beverly and his daughters Mary George Pearce and Sara. Brother of Herbert, Regina, Loretta and Bryan. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Vivian and his siblings Vivian, Kathy and Richard. Visiting will be Monday 2-6PM.
