Rita J. Lindhamer a resident of LaGrange and formerly of Yonkers passed away on August 21, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 5, 1925 in Mt. Vernon to the late Thomas and Mary (Cullen) Hopkins. Rita was known to everyone as a sweet and sassy lady who was loved by anyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her loving children Jane R. Brancazio (Peter), Theodore J. Lindhamer, June M. Tencza (Robert) and Timothy A. Lindhamer. Grandchildren, Heather Ann Mueller (Brett), Robert Tencza (Melissa), Melanie D'Addario (Steven), Daniel Tencza (Kristin), Samantha Lindhamer and dear great-grandmother (G.G.) to Charlotte, Derek and Justin Mueller and Amelia D'Addario. She is also survived by her brother Richard Hopkins and her sister-in-law Anne. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Theodore in 1998 as well as one sister and four brothers.
