Eugene Conte
Eugene Conte a longtime resident of Ardsley passed away on August 13, 2018 at the age of 90. He was born June 5, 1928 in Ponza, Italy to the late Michael and Concietta Mazzella Conte. Before his retirement he owned and operated the Olympic Glove Company in Bronx, NY. He is survived by his children John Conte (Annie), Michael Conte (Barbara), Patricia White (James). His grandchildren John Conte, Nicky Conte, Amber Conte, Gabby Conte, Kathleen White and James White. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren Angelo Conte and Nico Conte. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Maria Conte in 2014. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry, NY. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday 10:30AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Ardsley, NY. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
