Irene Marie Sacco passed away on Saturday February 22, 2020. Born to Rose and Louis Scognamiglio in Bronx, NY, she graduated Walton High School in 1943. She worked at Wilson Publishing Company and in February 1950 she married her beloved Tom Sacco. Together they have spent 70 years building a loving life, tending to beloved family and nurturing lifetime friendships. She has lived in their Hartsdale/Ardsley home for the past 55 years and enjoyed her home, neighbors, community clubs and centers. She is loved and admired by anyone who has met her and shared her love by cooking, baking and sharing her culinary delicacies with everyone. Even at 95 years old, Irene continued her weekly family dinner, preparing delicious family meals for her children and grandchildren, complete with birthday cakes or favorite treats. Whoever was around would show up for the Thursday night dinner. Irene is survived by her dear husband Tom, her children Donna Bianco and husband James, Janine Laruccia and husband Anthony, Tom Sacco and wife Linda, and Carla Sacco and partner Charlie Luisi, beloved grandchildren Gregory, Lawrence, Thomas, Catherine and Max, dear sister Doris Mascarelli and deceased sister Marie, and beloved nieces/nephews, cousins and numerous friends and neighbors. A very special person has left this earth today to socialize with the angels. God Bless her.
