Arthur J. Giroux a lifelong resident of Irvington passed away on February 21, 2020. He was 88 years old. Arthur was born June 26, 1931 in Dobbs Ferry to the late John and Nicolina Brancaccio Giroux. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1951 - 1955 was an avid Yankee and New York Giants Fan and also enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. He is survived by his children Denise Karpowicz (Ronald) and his son Jeff Giroux, his sister Carol Hambrecht (Frank). Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Joann and sister Dolores Conkling. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-8PM at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry, NY. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10AM on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington, NY. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
