Sister Mary Nora Kelley, RSM, age 89, a member of the Sisters of Mercy, died at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ, on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Born to the late James and Mary Kelley in Brasher Falls, NY. She is survived by her brother James, a large extended family and her Sisters of Mercy. Sister Nora was a joy-filled person and a gifted story teller. She was a teacher and an elementary school principal. She taught at St. Catherine Academy in Bronx, NY for many years. Her funeral arrangements are as follows at Marian Woods Chapel, 152 Ridge Road, Hartsdale, NY, 10530. The Wake Service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 3:00pm to 6:30pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10am.
