Mario Frusciante, 84, of Hastings-on-Hudson passed away peacefully on August 8, 2017. Born in Italy in 1933 to the late Antonio and Ersilia, Mario grew up in a small town along the Amalfi coast. He moved to the U.S. in 1960 on his own and lived in Staten Island with relatives. Mario met the love of his life, Rose Ruggero, in NYC and married her in October of 1961. He worked for the NYS Dept of Finance and Taxation, and became a District Manager of the Compliance Division. Mario had a passion for tennis and soccer. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, who will be deeply missed. Mario is survived by his wife, Rose; their son, Mario; daughter-in-law, Marisa; grandchildren, Adriana and Alexa; 2 brothers, Vittorio and Serafino; and 3 sisters: Lia, Elena, and Anna.
