James C. Wright of Hastings on Hudson, died on Aug 3; he was 50. Born and raised in Dobbs Ferry to James and Phyllis O'Regan Wright. James was a graduate of the 1978 Dobbs Ferry H.S. class. He has been a long time employee and dispatcher for Rivertowns Taxi. He was formerly married to Kathleen Utchel. James was an avid sports fan; and was especially fond of the METS, CUBS, Rangers, and Raiders. He enjoyed a great game of golf; and the softball league and dart league he played for. James is predeceased by his parents; he is survived by his beloved sister Margaret "Margie" Raffa, his brother in law Gary Raffa, his former wife, Kathleen; and all his cherished friends. Visiting will be Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. There will be a Mass of the Resurrection, 9:30 AM Monday, Sacred Heart Church, 417 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry.
