Marie C. Oelkers, 76, of Hastings-on-Hudson died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July,19, 2021. Marie was born in Dobbs Ferry on August 5, 1944 to Nicholas and Marie Oleskwich. Marie grew up in Dobbs Ferry and was a 1962 graduate of Dobbs Ferry High School. In 1974, Marie along with her mother and sister Susan moved to her home in Hastings-on-Hudson. Marie worked for the Village of Hastings as the DPW and Building Department Secretary for many years. Marie was a staple in the village. If you didn't see her at Village Hall you could find her at various Fire Department and Mothers' Club functions throughout the village. Marie loved her family, friends and community.
