John Gaydosh
John Gaydosh passed away peacefully on Sunday at the age of 93. A life long resident of Yonkers, he attended Roosevelt High School and studied at Parsons School of Design. After working in the Beverage industry for more than 35 years, he went on to pursue his life long passion of growing flowers and plants, as a horticulturist at local country clubs; including, The Round Hill Club in Greenwich. John was a cherished husband of Elinor for more than 72 years; the devoted father of William of Park Ridge, NJ; Linda Gonzalez of Monroe Township, NJ; and Judy Young of Chappaqua, NY. He is the loving grandfather of seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Florence McCluskey of Peekskill, NY and many caring nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends and family will be held Sat. at 11am, followed by a 12 noon memorial service, at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave. Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522.
