Marjorie G. Johnson

Marjorie Johnson of Ardsley, NY died peacefully on April 15, 2010 at Masonicare Rehabilitation Center in Newtown, CT after suffering a stroke a month before in her home. Born on March 26, 1919 in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph and Grace Biggs. She married Norman Johnson in 1945. They have lived in Ardsley since 1956. Marjorie was a member of Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church and Dobbs Ferry Women's Club. She is survived by her daughters Beverly Helgren Dave of Naples, Fl., Sharman Wheatley of Monroe, Ct, and grandsons Brett, Blake, Gregory and Justin. Visitation will be at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Saturday 10:00 AM at Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials to Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church appreciated.
