Vincent J. Romano, also known as "Vinny, Vin, Vince, Dad, Daddy and his favorite, Grandpa", passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021. Born and raised in the Bronx, Vincent moved to Dobbs Ferry after marrying the love of his life, Kathryn Spinelli, where they raised their seven children. A resident of Dobbs Ferry for over 55 years, Vincent was a beloved and popular usher at Sacred Heart Church where he attended mass daily. Vincent earned his bachelor's degree from Manhattan College and his master's degree in engineering from Yale University. Dedicated, talented and prideful of his work in civil engineering, Vincent worked his way up the ladder to eventually becoming the owner and operator of Singmaster & Breyer, an international engineering Firm. Vincent is survived by his children Vincent Romano, Mark Romano, Joan Henry, Patricia Brown and Lisa Romano. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and his 4 dogs. Vincent spent all his life caring for his family and rooting for the Yankees. Vincent will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
