Frank Mastrangelo Jr. 76, of Pleasantville, NY, died peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2010 after a long heart illness. Mr. Mastrangelo graduated from Manhattan School of Music and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an accomplished trumpet player and traveled with the Big Bands, and has his own band, Frank Masters Orchestra, He taught music for over 30 years in the New York City Schools. He was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge. He is survived by his wife Irene, his daughter Gina Paul, his son Daniel Carol, grandchildren Danielle, Michael, and Calli, his sister Corinne Picone, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9PM Thursday April 8th, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection 10 AM, Friday April 9th, at Church of St. Matthew, Warburton Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
