John Belloise

Belloise, John 73, of Irvington, died December 9, 2009. He was raised in Tarrytown and has lived in Irvington for the past 51 years. John was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea where he read his one book Mickey Spillane. On December 21, 1956, John married Nancy DePaoli in Tarrytown. John's passions included bowling, crossword puzzles and most of all an ardent Yankee fan. John also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. For anyone who knew John could say he was a "side line coach". John is survived by his loving wife Nancy, children James, Cheryl Ann Bob Smith, John Susan Rizzi, Lori Ann Charles Zekus and 14 grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters: Carol Belloise, Gloria Greene and Patricia McCluskey. Funeral Saturday 9:30 AM Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
