Mariam Taylor Anthony Mariam Anthony, a long-time resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, died Tuesday the 1st of December at St. John's Riverside Hospital. Born in 1929 in Blue Eye, MO, Mariam received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southwest Missouri State University in 1951. After her marriage to Paul Anthony in 1951, Mariam moved to New York City, enjoying both work and city life. In 1960, Mariam moved to Hastings-on-Hudson where she raised her family, participated in many church activities, and worked as a substitute teacher in the Hastings Middle and High Schools. Mariam enjoyed cooking and entertaining, gardening, tennis, activites with friends, and loved reading. She is survived by her husband Paul, son Wayne Anthony of Peekskill, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Baron Roberts, and by grandchildren Michael and Olivia Roberts, all of whom live in northern California.
