Chernoski, Emma M., 93 of Hastings-on-Hudson on November 13, 2009. Miss Chernoski was born in Hastings to Zenon and Stefania Chernoski. She was raised in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School. Miss Chernoski had a long career as a bookkeeper. She worked in the Freight Forwarding business. She worked for Turner and Blanchard for 25 years, then Luckenbach, Moore-McCormack and finished her career with Smith and Johnson. All companies were located in New York City. Miss Chernoski enjoyed baking and gardening. She was a daily Communicant and parishioner of the Church of St. Matthew, R.C. She was predeceased by her sister Anne and brother Joseph.
