Hastings-on-Hudson, NY - Irene M. Allan (Vega), a devoted mother, tragically passed away on January 15, 2021. She was 43 years old and surrounded by her family. Born in Yonkers, NY to Jo-Ann Murphy and the late Candido Vega, she was the loving mother of Olivia Allan, wife of Richard Allan and daughter-in-law of Richard Allan Sr. She is survived by her sister Rosemary Fridson (Adam), brother Anthony Alvarez (Karen), sister Vanesha Carvalho (Alex), nephew Justin Fridson, niece Brianna Fridson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mrs. Allan graduated from Saunders Trades & Technical School and was office manager and bookkeeper for Pertez, Resnick, Mitgang & Marcus in Tarrytown for over 24 years. Irene had grown up in Yonkers and later moved to Hastings to start a family. There was nothing more important to Irene than her daughter. She adored her nephew Justin and niece Brianna. Irene enjoyed creating memorable experiences with her loving friends and family. Family was everything to her. We will forever remember her contagious laugh and ability to bring joy to all.
