Elaine Cocozzo, 80, of Dobbs Ferry entered into peaceful rest on Feb. 23, 2017 with family by her side. She was born in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Grace nee Russo and Vincent Amato. Elaine was the Office Manager of Carminart, Inc in Elmsford until her retirement in 2003. She had a passion for cooking, dancing and singing. Elaine was also very artistic as was evident in her holiday decorating. Elaine enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her friends and family. She had a deep love for her family and always put their needs before her own. Elaine had a great giving nature and donated to numerous charities. She will be sorely missed. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Cocozzo, her sisters Patricia Franco and Marie Ciccimarra and her brother Vincent Amato. She was the devoted mother to her children, Perry Cocozzo and his partner Don Tramontano, Diane Cocozzo and her partner Stephen Jones. Elaine was the proud grandmother to her two grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Connor and Justin Jones. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Estelle Amato and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visiting will be held on Saturday Feb. 25, 2017 from 9 - 11am with Funeral Service at 11am Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry
