Mildred "Emilia" Dzikowski

Mildred (Emilia) Dzikowski, 94, of Tuckahoe, NY passed away on May 14, 2020, after a courageous battle with the coronavirus. She was born in Yonkers, NY on January 5, 1926, to Frank and Victoria (Przybycien) Cetnarowski. On September 21, 1947, Mildred married her loving husband, Frank Dzikowski at St. Casimir's Church. They lived happily in Yonkers for 27 years, and enjoyed traveling the country and the world, in addition to spending time with family. In 1974, the couple moved to Deltona, FL, where they lived until Frank's death in 2009, after 62 years of marriage. Shortly thereafter, in 2012, Mildred returned to New York to be closer to her family. Mildred is survived by her brother, Casimir Cetnarowski and sister Roberta Traversa. She was also sister to the late Walter, Henry, Theodore, Edward and Stanley Cetnarowski, and Helen Sobierajski. Among the people who mourn her loss are her many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nephews - all of whom brought much joy to her life. No public service is scheduled; internment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road Bronx, NY 10461.
