Noel Marie Magyera
Noel Marie Magyera, 96, of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly of Yonkers passed away on September 13, 2016. Born in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Browne. On October 12, 1943, Noel married her love Stephen Nicholas Magyera, a motorcycle patrol officer with the NYPD, in the Bronx. She was an executive assistant for Ciba Geigy in Ardsley for many years. Noel enjoyed spending time with friends playing bridge and canasta. She was an avid shopper. Noel also fancied dancing. She was a lifelong devoted Catholic and was a parishioner of the Church of St. Anthony in Yonkers for 60 years. Noel was a member of the Bronxville Women's Club and the Ciba Geigy Quarter Century Club. Noel is survived by her son Stephen N. Rosemary, grandchildren Stephen III Elizabeth, Jaime Philippe Snoy and Catherine Stefan Wolansky and great grandsons Stephen IV and Sean. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Healey. Noel was predeceased by her husband Stephen in 1985 and by her siblings Margaret Browne, Emily Browne, Peace Donohue, William Browne, Jr and Bernard Browne.
