John Gerard Kabaservice, 65, beloved brother, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly on April 27th, 2020. John was born in Queens on May 20, 1954, the youngest child of Peter and Anne Kabaservice. A longtime resident of Irving, New York, John grew up in Deer Park, NY with his brothers, Paul and Tom. During his time on Long Island, John was a true outdoorsman, spending his time in the waters near his home as an avid surfer, boater and fisherman. Later, John would travel the world for work and pleasure. John spent many years in the medical field employed by Qiagen as a Senior Field Service Specialist. Known by all as a kind and loving man with a booming laugh and a generous spirit, John had the ability to captivate the room with a story. John enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family on Long Island. He is survived by his brother, Paul and his family, as well as his many friends. Funeral services will be privately held.Obituary
