Anna Nanna, 94, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry passed away on August 18, 2016. Born and raised in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Irene Canzoniero. Anna married her beloved John F. Nanna on September 11, 1943. She settled in Dobbs Ferry in 1954. Anna was an administrator for Boces in Port Chester for many years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Anna is survived by her children Carol Robert Swales, Terry Gerald Schiavo and Angelo "Butch"Joan Nanna, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1999 and her great granddaughter, Riley, in 2011. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00am Tuesday, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry. Visiting 4-8pm, Monday, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
