Helen Raffa 92, of Dobbs Ferry died August 10, 2005. She was born in Dobbs Ferry on October 9, 1912 to Dominick and Maria Dorante Altieri. Helen worked as a volunteer at St. Cabrini Nursing Home for 31 years. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Raffa. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Bankowitz of Irvington, granddaughter Susan Monteiro of Dobbs Ferry, grandson Richard Bankowitz of Chicago, Ill.Graveside Service 10 AM Saturday Ferncliff Cemetery.
