Candida Miele Brekstone

Candida Miele Brekstone died July 27, 2005. She was born in NYC on April 16, 1912, daughter of Stefano and Rosalie Portughese Miele. She graduated from NYU School of Law. In 1938 she married Stephen Brekstone. He died in 1999. Candida was a succesful real estate broker and proudly owned her own agency, Hudson Valley Realty, in Dobbs Ferry, for over 40 years. She is surived by her daughter, Barbara Carmenini of Dobbs Ferry, two grandchildren, Candace Martin of Bronxville and Christopher Carmenini of Dobbs Ferry, two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Charlotte Martin, her brother Stephen Miele and sister Yolanda Flanagan. Memorial Mass 9:30am Monday, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Lung Association in memory of Candida.
