Lena Cronell 89, of Hastings-on-Hudson died June 1, 2005. She was born in Wendell, MA. March 5, 1916 to Walery and Henrietta Zakeski Wirth. She married William Cronell on December 31, 1938 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Hastings. William died in 1970. Lena enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting and card playing. She is survived by her children William, Edward, Joan and Nancy, Nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren, brother Peter Wirth, sisters Sophie Seigler, Josephine Zabko, Nancy Fiske and many loving relatives, friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her brothers John, Charles, Larry, Edward and Raymond. Mass of the Resurrection 10AM Monday St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Visiting 2-4 and 7-9PM Sunday Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorials to the HastingsVolunteer Ambulance would be appreciated.
