It is with Broken Hearts the family of Julia Marie Gentile announces her passing on April 10, 2020, she was 77 years young. Born on January 29, 1943, she was one of 2 children born to Matilda and Frank Wojcicki in Yonkers, New York. Julia Graduated from Commerce High School In 1960. On September 23, 1967 she married the love of her life Gerald Francis Gentile Sr. Jerry and Julia settled in Yonkers, NY for over 48 years before moving to Dobbs Ferry, NY. They raised 3 sons together, Gerald, Christopher, and Michael. Julia was a strong, caring, giving, selfless and loving woman. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, Sister- In-Law, Aunt and Friend to many. She was exceptionally close with her Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law Frank and Colette Gentile along with their Children and Grandchildren. Other than her love for her Family and Friends Julia loved crafts and crocheting. She also had a love for music, sports and for all of her pets that she had over the years. For over 30 years Julia worked at St. Josephs Medical Center, as a Sr Executive Secretary for Cardiologists, Dr. Melvyn Bleiberg and Dr. Richard Greif. She was a dedicated worker and made many friends throughout the years. Julia loved the holidays, her favorite was Christmas. She took joy in spending countless hours shopping, wrapping presents just so, and cooking her famous Lasagna for Christmas dinner for the family. Julia will always be remembered for the love she had for each and everyone in her life. She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Matilda Wojcicki. She is Survived by her Husband Gerald F. Gentile Sr., Brother Frank Wojcicki and sister-in-law Betty Wojcicki, her 3 Sons, Gerald F. Gentile Jr., Christopher F. Gentile and Michael F. Gentile. Her 3 Daughter- In-Laws Donna Marie Gentile, Michele Gentile and Samantha Gentile. Her 5 Grandchildren, Gerald, Amanda, Deanna, Vanessa and Juliana. Her Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. A memorial service and celebration of Julia's life will be announced at a later date. Details are pending.
