Catherine "Kate" J. Carroll. Born in N.Y.C. on January 9, 1925. She was a resident of Ardsley since 1962. Predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She leaves one surviving sister. She is a beloved mother of 15 children, a grandmother of 27 and a great-grandmother of 8. Not to mention her 8 dogs, over the years, who were a great part of her life. A BIG "THANK YOU" TO A GREAT WOMAN. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday 10AM Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, in Ardsley. Viewing Sunday 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home Internment will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Kate's name, to the Ardsley Fire Dept., Ardsley Police Dept., Ardsley Ambulance Corp. or to your local animal shelter
