Mary K Palmer

Mary K. Palmer 86, long time Irvington resident died March 29, 2005. Mary was born in Elizabeth New Jersey on December 2, 1918, the daughter of Edward S. and Annabella Steenson Kerr. Mary was a bookkeeper at Lord & Burnham Corp. In Irvington for many years. She volunteered at Phelps Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed travel. Mary was a long time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, where for many years she was the church treasurer and enjoyed arranging flowers for Sunday services. Survivors are her daughter Karen Richard Harmer of Wappinger Falls, granddaughters Jennifer and Jessica, sisters Anne Simmons, Mildred Gorton, Florence Beckley, Ethel Zeh, Eleanor Sammartino, Barabara Carrozzi and one brother Edward S. Kerr. She was predeceased by her husband Edward and brother William Kerr. Funeral Service Friday 11AM Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 600 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry. Viewing Thursday 2-4 PM & 7-9PM Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memoriasl to Aldersgate appreciated.
