Kurt Bauer died peacefully at his home in Manhattan on March 23, 2005. His loving wife Eugenie predeceased him in 2004. Surviving is his nephew, Stephan Kals. Kurt loved Vienna, music and reading. He was a retired Jeweler, having worked most recently for Megur Watch and Jewelry in Manhattan. Graveside funeral services were held Thursday March 24 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
