Anthony P. Moccia
Anthony Moccia, 86, of Dobbs Ferry died Saturday February 12, 2005. Mr. Moccia was born in Ardsley on October 10, 1918 the son of Lorenzo and Raffela Zerella Moccia. He lived in the Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry area his entire life. On March 7, 1942 Anthony married Margaret Bucci at Our Lady of Pompeii Church where they remained parishioners. Anthony retired as a supervisor at Stouffer Chemical Co. In the early 1980's after a 42 year career. He had an affinity for golf and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include his wife, Margaret, children Peggy Flanigan of Fairfax, VA, Robert Moccia of Tampa, FL, and Judy Klein of Dobbs Ferry, grandsons Matthew, Jeffrey and Ryan Flanigan, four great granddaughters, one brother Nicholas Moccia of Yonkers and many nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by his brother Thomas and his sister Ann Zadaronski. Mass of the Resurrection Wednesday 9:30 Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Visiting Monday 7-9PM, Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
