John Anthony DePaolo

John A. DePaolo died peacefully on February 4, 2005 in Florida, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 1, 1922 in Dobbs Ferry, son of Gennaro and Marie Cioffi DePaolo. He served in the US Army during WW2 in the C.B.I. Theater. In 1954 he married Marie Genovesi. She died in 1980. John retired from the Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg after teaching Business Classes for 30 years. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be missed by his 3 loving daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Rich Mitzner of Ardsley, Maryann and Ed Krzos of Mt. Kisco and Laurie DePaolo and Kevin Tinto of Tiburon, CA, his beloved grandchildren, Rachel and Alex Mitzner and Erica Krzos and his wife Dorothy Peterson of Dobbs Ferry.Mass of the Resurrection 9:30 am Thursday, Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
